Weekly Adventures!
Every week at Wholesome Pickins Daycamp is a brand-new adventure! Campers dive into hands-on fun, creative experiences, and outdoor exploration that will create lifelong memories. From discovering the wonders of nature to cooking, crafting, and exploring life on the farm, there’s something exciting for every child, new friends, new skills, and new adventures awaits!
Daycamp Themes for 2026!
Artsy Adventures Day (Crafts):
Let your child’s imagination run wild! Campers will explore a variety of hands-on art activities, including painting, sculpting, tie-dye, and more. They’ll experiment with different materials, learn new techniques, and create unique masterpieces to take home and show off.
Outdoor Explorer's Day (Nature):
Adventure into the outdoors and explore the amazing natural world right here at Wholesome Pickins! Campers will take an exciting walk along the trail at the back of the farm, off Fertilizer Road, discovering plants, animals, and the beauty of nature along the way. With scavenger hunts, nature-inspired crafts, and hands-on activities, campers will gain a deeper appreciation for the environment while having fun exploring every corner of the farm.
Popcorn and PJ's Day (Movie Day):
A cozy cinematic adventure right in the farm shop! Kids can wear their comfiest clothes or pajamas and bring blankets, pillows, and stuffed friends to snuggle up as we watch two family-friendly films on the big screen. The day also includes movie-themed games, crafts, and a small concession stand, making it a fun-filled, comfy experience that campers will love!
Farm Yard Fun Days (Education):
Learning comes to life on the farm! During Farm Yard Fun Days, campers explore Wholesome Pickins through hands-on activities, guided discovery, and interactive play. Each week highlights a new farm-focused theme, like fruits and veggies, animal adventures, plant power, farm tools, insects, and creative farm crafts, giving children a deeper understanding of how the farm works. With plenty of exploring, learning, and fun, these days are perfect for curious minds who love getting hands-on with farm life!
Picnic and Park:
We’re heading off the farm for a special summer adventure! Campers will walk together along quiet subdivision roads (never the main road) to nearby St. Francis Park, where they can enjoy playground time and a picnic lunch. Afterward, we’ll treat the group to a stop at Dairy Freeze for ice cream before returning to the farm for afternoon activities. This outing has been a camper favourite in past years and is carefully planned and supervised by our staff. Bikes and scooters are welcome for the walk to and from the park and have been a great, optional way to keep kids active and engaged, but children are absolutely welcome to participate without one. It’s a fun, safe, and memorable day that campers look forward to all summer long
Little Chefs Cooking/Baking Day:
Join us every Tuesday for a hands-on culinary adventure! Campers will step into the market bakery to mix, measure, and create 2–3 delicious projects, including a baked treat, a fun no-bake creation, and a savory or cooking activity they’ll enjoy for lunch. The day is rounded out with baking-themed crafts and activities, making it a perfect mix of creativity, learning, and tasty fun.
Treasures and Tiaras - A Royal Adventure:
Ahoy, mateys and royal guests! Campers are invited to step into a world of imagination where princesses and pirates rule the day. Through themed games, creative crafts, dress-up fun, and exciting adventures, children can choose their own role and let their imaginations lead the way. Whether they’re ruling a kingdom or sailing the high seas, campers will love this playful day of make-believe and adventure on the farm.
Wet & Wild Day Water Day:
Beat the summer heat with an action-packed day of water fun! Campers will enjoy water balloons, slip-and-slides, sprinklers, and other wet-and-wild activities. It’s a day full of splashy excitement, laughter, and summer adventures right on the farm.
Junior Scientist Day:
Step into the lab! Kids will explore hands-on science experiments that teach cause-and-effect, observation, and critical thinking. From volcano eruptions to slime creation, every experiment is designed for fun, safety, and learning.
Junior Allstars! Sports Day:
Get ready to run, play, and cheer! Campers will take part in a mix of classic sports and Olympic-style challenges, including team events, individual activities, and friendly competitions. With a focus on teamwork, trying new skills, and celebrating effort, this day is all about having fun, supporting each other, and enjoying active play in the fresh air.
Festival Fun: Carnival Day:
Step right up for a day of carnival excitement! Campers will enjoy classic carnival-style games, fun challenges, and playful activities set up outdoors for everyone to try, complete with pretend wristbands and tickets for a true festival feel. With face painting, special treats, and plenty of laughter, Carnival Day is all about fun, smiles, and making summer memories together!
Game On! Games Day:
A day dedicated to board games, group games, and friendly competition! Campers can bring their favorite games or join in ours, enjoying laughter, strategy, and teamwork while making new friends

What dates do you have available for summer 2026?
The dates are as follows: June 29-33, July 2-3, 6-10, 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, August 4-7, August 10-14, 17-22, 24-28. Spaces will fill up quickly, and there is only limited space available so please follow the link below and complete the Google form for the dates you would like
What are the age limits for WP Day Camp?
Our Daycamp is perfect for young explorers between the ages of 4-10 years old. See registration form for specific dates.
What's the cost of WP Day Camp?
Each day of camp is $55.00 per child, with a non-refundable one-time $10.00 admin fee included. Early pick up or late drop off is available for an additional fee.
Do I need to send a lunch with my child?
Yes! Pack a delicious lunch and a healthy snacks for your child to enjoy throughout the day. We'll provide refreshing drinks and ensure a fun-filled camp experience!
What do they need to bring each day?
Please send your child with sunscreen already applied, a refillable water bottle, comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor play, a lunch, a change of clothes (just in case!) and a hat for sun protection.
What safety procedures do you have in place?
Safety is our top priority at Wholesome Pickins Daycamp. Our experienced staff is CPR-certified and provides constant supervision throughout the day.
